MELASMA

Melasma is a skin hyperpigmentation of the face in the form of brown or brown macules or flat patches affecting the cheeks, temples and forehead bilaterally, an arrangement known as “mask of pregnancy”. Generally the lesions develop progressively and worsen after sun exposure.
