Stretch marks are streaks or narrow lines that develop on the surface of the skin of approximately 90% of the female population. The areas of the body most frequently affected by stretch marks are the abdomen (belly), buttocks and thighs.

Stretch marks are often red or purple to start with and gradually change to a silvery-white colour.

WHITE STRETCH MARKS

One of the best treatments for white stretch marks is the non-ablative fractional laser with a wavelength of 1550 (Ydun Candela laser).

The target of this laser is the water in the dermis located about 800 microns below the horny state, in order to achieve heating deep in the dermis stimulating the production of new collagen.
