LIPOSUCTION

Liposuction is a surgical procedure used to remove fat from specific areas such as the hips, buttocks, thighs, knees and upper limbs.

The procedure is performed using cannulae of varying diameters that are introduced through small incisions. The cannulas, with a mechanical action, break up the adipose tissue and suck it through holes in its tip.

The treatment consists of suctioning a quantity of fat where possible to transport it to the buttocks. It is necessary to assess whether there is enough fat to fill the buttocks and reshape them. In case there is not, can opt for the insertion of prostheses.
